The Skaians enjoyed a long run as the most powerful gang in New York City for years, controlling three boroughs. It peaked under the leadership of both Windswept Questant and Banished Quasiroyal. Both of them hated each other with a passion, but they put the good of the gang in front of their petty disagreements. Unfornately, Banished Quasiroyal made enemies of her own subordinates, especially one in particular: Jack Noir. During a big heist, Jack and his three other cohorts betrayed Banished Quasiroyal, causing the five of them to be kicked out of the Skaians. Soon after, Jack Noir went on to create the Midnight Crew and Banished Quasiroyal joined The Felt, a new gang that had a quick rise to power. Due to those heavy loses and two new gangs grabbing territory, the Skaians moved their operations in behind a legitimate business. Sometime after their fall from grace, lieutenant Peregrine Mendicant and Windswept Questant took pity on two “lowbloods” about to be sent off to a brothel and bought them to save them from a life of servitude. They commit mostly white collar crimes, and only kill rival gang members or when you get in their way, making them the most merciful gang in New York City.
